This is what economist William Baumol observed decades ago: certain industries cannot benefit from productivity gains in the same way others can, and so they become more expensive over time. What he found is simple and profound. When emotions are not
expressed, they do not disappear, they lodge themselves in the body.
Studies show that people who suppress their emotions carry
significantly higher levels of inflammatory markers. Whereas those
who regularly vocalize what they are feeling show the opposite
pattern. The body seems to interpret the human voice as a signal that
a threat has been recognized and processed, which allows the immune
system to shift from defense into repair.

The neuroscience supports this. Speaking aloud activates the brain's
regulatory centers and quietens the amygdala, the brain's alarm
system. In one study, simply verbalizing inner states reduced cortisol
levels by more than twenty percent in just minutes.
In other words, some people are not just talking to themselves, they
are regulating their nervous systems, reducing inflammation, and
releasing stress before it has time to become illness.

You do not perceive reality in full, you perceive a sliver of it, filtered
through your nervous system, your stress levels, your history, and your

A.I can already analyze more art, music, writing, and ideas than any
human ever could. And it can remix and reproduce these patterns at
extraordinary speed. This means that a large part of what we currently
call creative work, especially the pattern-based, style-driven part will
inevitably be done better, faster, and cheaper by A.I.
But this has happened before. When machines replaced human
labor in agriculture, we did not become less human, we became
something else entirely. If that shift had not happened, we would still all
mostly be farmers. In the same way, A.I is not here to shrink us,
it's here to catalyze us to evolve.
The deeper issue is that human creativity has probably never been
anywhere near its true potential. Science is increasingly showing that
what we experience as reality is only a tiny fraction of what actually
exists. And that most of reality is invisible to us and full of latent
possibility. If this is even partly true, then most of our creativity today is
happening in a very small room.
A.I is pushing us out of this limited room. It's taking over the
predictable, repeatable forms of creativity so that we are forced to
discover something deeper, more intuitive, and more expansive in
ourselves.
The real question isn't: "Will A.I replace us?"
It is: "Are we willing to evolve beyond the version of ourselves
that A.I will outperform?"

I've just spent three days at the 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai.
Somewhere between the conversations, the energy, and the ideas
bouncing around, one thing became impossible to ignore. The future
of work has quietly but completely changed.
For most of our lives, the formula was simple and comforting. You
became a person, you studied, you got a job, you joined a company,
and you earned money. It was linear, predictable, and for a long time it
worked. But that world is fading faster than most people realize.

He described driving along the A40, in the UK, one evening when he
passed what looked like a completely shut petrol/gas station. The signs
were dark, the forecourt was unlit, the prices were blank. His wife said
it was closed. But Rory knew it couldn't be, because he had once been
there on Christmas Day. So they pulled in anyway. Sure enough, the
place was open, only invisible from the road.
The funny part was that the staff member had simply forgotten
to turn the lights on. No one had noticed, no one cared. Yet in that
hour, the station probably lost thousands in fuel sales. Rory pointed out
the double standard. If the same staff member had stolen a Lion
chocolate bar, it would've been treated as a huge crime. But failing to
turn the lights on, effectively losing hundreds of pounds per hour,
carried no consequence.
The lesson is sharp. In business, we punish unnecessary costs but
rarely punish missed opportunities. We treat doing something bad as
worse than failing to do something good. Yet both can cost just as
much.

As the year closes, there's a choice we all face. Hold on to the version
of ourselves that feels familiar, or step into a new identity that asks
for space, clarity, and courage. After my 14th meditation retreat with
Dr Joe Dispenza in Nov, this landed with a force I couldn't ignore. Feng
Shui teaches that nothing new can arrive while the old still fills the
room. I realized the same is true for identity. Anything that is not part
of my future cannot travel with me.
When I returned home, jet lag woke me up at two in the morning. I
meditated, centered myself, and then spent five hours clearing my
house with sharp honesty. Every cupboard, every drawer, every
forgotten corner. I put 80% of my aftershaves into my recycling bin.
Many of them were brand new. I removed objects I did not love. I
stepped away from people and clients who belonged to an older
chapter. With every decision my energy shifted. The air felt

Every time humanity faces a new wave of technology, the same story
unfolds. First comes resistance, then confusion, and eventually
adaptation. Yet within that cycle, something remarkable always rises
from the noise, a deeper expression of what it means to be human.
Right now, we are living through one of those waves. Artificial
Intelligence is reshaping the internet, filling it with words that sound
intelligent but lack depth, with art that looks beautiful but carries no
emotion, and with ideas that appear insightful but have no roots. The
result is a digital world overflowing with information yet starving for
authenticity. And as the noise grows louder, people are beginning to
crave what feels true again.
There are three main reasons the internet is becoming untrustworthy,
and together they are driving what I call the Analogue Renaissance,
a return to the real, the tactile, and the deeply human.
The first reason is that the way we add value to the world is evolving.
We once created through physical work. Then we entered the era of
intelligence, where our worth was measured by how much we knew or
how fast we could think. Now, with artificial intelligence able to
replicate knowledge faster than any human ever could, the next
frontier is not IQ but AQ, the Adaptability Quotient. AQ is the ability to
evolve emotionally, mentally, and creatively when faced with change.
When we develop this adaptability, we unlock something even deeper,
our Genius Quotient or GQ. GQ is not about being clever, it is about
being original, emotionally aware, and true to yourself. It's the creative
energy that makes your work unmistakably your own.
In a world where machines can copy almost anything, authenticity
becomes the highest currency. When your work carries the energy of
lived experience and your voice sounds unmistakably human, people
pay attention. The more artificial the world becomes, the more valuable
your humanity will be.
The second reason is that the internet is losing credibility because of
the rapid rise of synthetic influence. Soon, Artificial Intelligence will
produce entire personalities, influencers, and thought leaders who
never existed. Truth will blur until it becomes impossible to tell what's
real and what's tech-generated. This shift will push us to value direct human experiences again, in-person gatherings, live conversations,
and communities built on trust. The more artificial our screens become,
the more sacred human presence will feel.
The third reason is what economists call the zero marginal cost
society. As technology pushes the cost of digital creation closer to
zero, abundance floods the system. When anything can be replicated
endlessly, the unique becomes priceless. In art, design, and creativity,
this will spark a powerful reversal, a revival of the handmade, the
physical, and the imperfect. People will seek out art, music, writing,
and design that feels alive because it came from real human hands.
The digital world will remain useful for sharing ideas, but real
connection will happen in person, through texture, touch, and time.
The Analogue Renaissance is not a step backward; it's a return to
balance. As the digital world expands infinitely, we are rediscovering
the sacredness of the finite, the beauty of what cannot be duplicated,
scaled and mass-produced.

Scientists at Johns Hopkins and other labs have just done something
remarkable. They've grown tiny living brains in a lab that can
actually learn. These organoids are clusters of around 100,000
human neurons grown from stem cells, each no bigger than a pea, yet
capable of astonishing feats.
In one study, researchers wired these brain cells to a computer running
the video game Pong. Within five minutes the cells figured out how to
move the paddle with no programming, no code, just trial, error, and
adaptation.
This is a new field called biocomputing where living brain tissue
performs the computing instead of silicon chips. The potential is
staggering. Your brain runs on about 20 watts which is less than a
light bulb while supercomputers need around 21 million watts to
approach the same capacity. Humans can learn a skill from just ten
examples while A.I needs millions.
The benefits of this development could be revolutionary. Energy
efficient computers that learn like humans, adapt in real time, and get
smarter without vast data centers.
